A different kind of meat....

Today Marvin and I decided to be brave and try a differnt kind of meat served in Korea. We rode the bus for about 25mins to a restaurant that one of my coworkers recommended; her favorite restaurant for this kind of dish we were in search for.
We followed her hand written Korean map and arrived after a 5 min walk from the bus stop.

The restaurant.....

We walked in and played the usual game of charades in order to get a table (that's right, I still have not mastered the Korean language. I can read Hangul and say basic words, but as far as conversation and longer sentences, I'm still learning!)
We were seated at a table outside, hence our charades for wanting a table inside were unsuccessful.

We ordered, put our brave faces on and tried our first DOG MEAT dish!!
Here is a picture of Marvin enjoying it.

I didn't enjoy the meal as much as he did, but it was worth the try. The meat was very tender and boiled in front of us along with different kinds of greens. We (and by "we" I really mean HE) ate the meat along with the greens, with a small bowl of rice, delicious rice I might add!
