Happy Halloween!!

Today we celebrated Halloween at the academy. Most of the kids dressed up and we had the usual Halloween events complete with candy and some Korean snacks.
Here are quite a few shots:
My coworker Annie giving the Korean sign for "Cheese."

Alice, my other coworker, taste-testing the snacks :)

Annie showing off her scary mask. It pumped "blood" through the mask.

Sophia in a traditional Korean Hanbok.

Snack time!

Jason eating Ta Bo ki (not sure if the spelling is correct), its small rice cake rolls in a spicy sauce. The kids love it almost as much as candy!

Face painting :)

Bobbing for apples - this didn't last very long, the kids kept sucking in the water and spitting it back into the bowl.....pretty gross.

Geuss what's in the box! We had some candy worms in one box, some dough and fur in another, some pumpkin guts, and some peeled grapes in another. 4 boxes total.

James getting a drink. The kids had to pour themselves a drink from this water kettle into a bowl and drink from the bowl.

Clara, not sure what her costume is....

All in all, it was a fun day, we played games and snacked also did a scavenger hunt which I prepared. The kids had a blast!
Unfortunately I didn't have a costume,
